MayaWorks

MayaWorks is a non-profit volunteer organization that markets the work of Mayan artisans in Guatemala who otherwise have no outlet for their handiwork. MayaWorks pays artisans at prices they set, assuring a fair wage. MayaWorks returns all sales profits to the artisans, funding scholarships and training programs, and provides micro-credit to the artisans and their families. Products are designed in collaboration with North Americans, blending contemporary ideas with traditional Mayan art.

MayaWorks is a proud member of the Fair Trade Federation (FTF) in the U.S.

This pencil pouch (9" x 3") has a zippered top and is made from hand-woven material in Guatemala. Can also be used for other small items.

Products can be ordered on-line at MayaWorks: Order Products or by phone.  Fair Trade Judaica - Zippered bag  Fair Trade Judaica -
